Needed a push

Hello hello! I have been wanting to write again for quite some time now, and today I finally got the push that I needed! And here I am now. How's it been?

Over the past few months, I did quite a few things that I haven't done before. For starters, I finally got to try coffee at Starbucks. It tasted just like the iced mocha I make at home. I am yet to decide if that's good or bad. 😆 Also if I am able to continue on at this rate I will finally be able to read 13 books in the year 2021! I have never read so many books in a year. I hope to continue reading more and more each year from now on. 

                                           

Iced mocha for the win!!

I really love the Kindle I got as a present. It's the reason I've been able to read so many books after all. I was under the impression that a kindle won't be able to nurture and fulfil the bookworm within me but boy was I wrong. It went way above and beyond anything I had expected and I am very happy to report that my love for reading is back stronger than ever before! But it's funny how all this happiness began from a horrible experience. Ever since the end of 2020, all my book purchases from Amazon ended in bitter feelings. Can you guess why? 

         Well, they always sent me damaged books. That's why. It's appalling how little care and love is spared for books. Naturally, I couldn't bear the pain that every purchase brought. But it's okay now. Ebooks have been nursing my sad and broken bibliophile heart quite well! And after mustering a lot of courage; I was able to order one particularly beautiful hardback from a favourite author. I'll leave it here for everyone to admire!

And now we are back to food again. Because that is the only thing that's been happening to me since my last entry. I recently got to try spaghetti bolognese. It was absolutely delicious- just like the spaghetti carbonara, I tried as well. So that's two Italian dishes down. I'll update you again when I have eaten more! I guess that's what we are doing here now; food, food and more food!
