I Miss Pizza and My Friends
If there was only one item that I could eat for the rest of my life; I want it to be pizza. For sure.
I know you are probably thinking: oh well, that sounds all good and funny to say on a whim but as a serious choice? Naaahhh. Obviously, you are under the impression that I haven't reflected upon my choice properly. Well, let me tell you something--this serious discussion about an eternal food choice has been contemplated upon and considered thoroughly.
It's an awesome choice too. Let me tell you why.
There's nothing in the world, that's better than a pizza. Nothing at all. First of all, there's the dough. Carbohydrates; check! Then there's the awesomely delicious--meaty (or mushroomy) proteinaceous goodness. And how can I forget the oh so amazing sauce...and the varied and creative toppings! Does it get better than this?! Oh yes, it does; it gets wayyyy better than this: as lastly, you add the king of the whole deal--the fatty cheese.
Now, you may choose to have a few healthy fruit and vegetable sliders as a side dish as well (carrots or celery or whatever). And boom!...you have got your vitamins and minerals. After finishing the meal, have a hearty glass of water. There. It's done--a balanced meal like no other.
When will we be able to do this again? |
If you're still not convinced; let me tell you something even better (or worse). You can actually have vegan pizzas daily--extremely healthy and non-indulgent choice but on the flip side, it might actually taste like cardboard. (I'm not sure. I have never found myself in such a humiliating situation as to try such a piece of edible junk yet! 😜) But when I'm considering a lifetime change to a diet consisting solely of pizzas, I most certainly have to give it a go. And still, I have got myself covered! I'll reward myself to proper delectable pizzas on weekends! Yahoo!
I have no idea why I am talking about such an absurd topic today. Maybe this means that I have reached my limit of having healthy but non-indulgent meals at home. Maybe I need a change. Maybe I need my personalised comfort food that is reminiscent of happier times. Or maybe memories of sharing a ridiculously tasty pizza with a friend are coming back. And, foiled plans of sharing some more ridiculously tasty pizzas with new friends; are shooting arrows of despair.
I am not really sure what the point of all this trash talk is. All I know is: I wanna share a pizza and some laughter with my friends. I do hope we will be able to do it in the not so distant future.
Until then, I pray for the mental strength to carry on. Hope you are well too. Have a nice day!
Ahhh dude!!!....If anything I want rn is to just share a pizza with u ðŸ˜ðŸ˜❤️❤️
